Icy roads north of I-70 Thursday morning
Icy and slick conditions north of Interstate 70 can be expected for the Thursday morning commute.
According to the MoDOT traveler map, roads in the Moberly area were either covered or partly covered.
“Stay alert to changing road conditions,” MoDOT said.
ABC 17 crews saw high levels of water in parts of Moberly.
With forecasted dropping temperatures over the next two hours, icy conditions are expected.
The temperature fluctuated between 32 and 31 degrees.
The Moberly Police Department shared a Facebook post that Moberly Schools are closed in the area due to the winter weather.
Drivers should avoid roads if possible or plan for extra time in their commute.
