Columbia man arrested in weekend shooting
A Columbia man was arrested on Tuesday after he was accused of shooting at a vehicle while people were inside on Sunday.
Joshua A, Houston, 28, was involved in the shooting on Sunday in the 4800 block of Aztec Boulevard, said Columbia Police Department spokesman Jeff Pitts. When officers arrived at the scene, they found damage to the vehicle due to gunshots.
Houston fled the scene, and officers were able to find him on Tuesday.
Houston was arrested on suspicion of first-degree assault, shooting a firearm at a motor vehicle and armed criminal action.
Houston was being held in the Boone County Jail on no bond.
