With former Clemson quarterback Kelly Bryant taking the reins next season, Bryant will now have one of Drew Lock’s favorite targets.

“These past 3 years at Mizzou have been the best years of my life. I’ve made many connections and met people that have positively changed my life forever. Playing with my brothers on the biggest stages in front of amazing fans has been an experience you truly can’t put a price on. I wouldn’t trade being a Mizzou Tiger for anything and I won’t. Can’t wait to get back to work. We’re coming for it all next season,” said Okwuegbunam in the social media post.

Okwuegbunam missed Mizzou’s final four games of the season due to a shoulder injury.

Albert O still managed to finish his sophomore season with 43 catches for 466 yards and six touchdowns in nine games.

As a freshman, Okwuegbunam set records for the Tigers in 2017. He led the nation in touchdown receptions with 11. His 11 touchdowns also were the most for a freshman in 2017 and set a freshman school record. Okwuegbunam finished the year with 29 catches for 415 yards and 11 scores. He earned second-team All-SEC honors and a spot on the freshman All-SEC team.
