Investigators search for suspected Morgan County gunman
Authorities in Morgan County say they are looking for a man accused of shooting his neighbor in the face early Friday.
The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office in a news release said Revious L. Hamilton Jr., 50, got in an argument with a man living across the street from him on Bear Claw Lane near Proctor. Investigators say Hamilton shot several rounds from a handgun at his neighbor, hitting him in the face. The injured man was stable when he was taken to a Jefferson City hospital.
Canine units were used in the search for Hamilton and the Missouri Highway Patrol Aircraft Division provided support from the air.
Morgan County prosecutors have charged Hamilton with four felonies in connection with the incident.
He was last seen leaving the scene on foot armed with the handgun. Investigators consider him armed and dangerous.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call authorities.
