Trial dates set for three in DeBrodie case

New trial dates have been set for three people charged in connection with the death of a disabled Fulton man.

Shaina Osborne is set to go to trial Feb. 28 on a charge of making a false report about a missing person. Anthony R. Flores is set for trial March 27 on charges of involuntary manslaughter, abandoning a corpse and making a false report about a missing person and Anthony R.K. Flores is set for trial March 28 on charges of making a false report.

The three are among several accused in the death of Carl DeBrodie, whose body was found in April 2017 in a Fulton storage unit after he went missing from a group home for disabled people. They were indicted by a grand jury in March.

A wrongful death lawsuit brought by DeBrodie’s mother said DeBrodie died after he was forced to fight another disabled person for the amusement of their caretakers and that no one got him medical attention.
