Mid-Missouri man accused of stealing tractor

One Benton County man is in custody after being accused of involvement in a burglary and stealing a tractor.

Authorities arrested 29-year-old Dustin Mahan on Dec. 22 after a foot chase with Benton County deputies. Before, being arrested, Mahan was seen taking items from a building. The owner showed up to find Mahan stealing property and loading it into a tractor.

Deputies later learned Mahan had also stolen the tractor before burglarizing the property. He is several crimes including burglary, tampering with a vehicle, stealing and resisting arrest.

At last check, Mahan was in the Benton County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
