Columbia man accused of sexual assault in Macon
The Macon County Police Department arrested Justin R. Shade, 39, after they received information about an early morning sexual assault on Saturday.
The investigation revealed a man had assaulted at least two victims before he left the area around 2:40 a.m.
They located the 39-year-old man around 6:00 a.m. at a local hotel. He has been placed on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges.
He was arrested on charges of felony sexual abuse and felony sodomy/attempted sodomy.
His bond is set at $50,000, cash only.
