Jefferson City crash sends one to the hospital
Jefferson City police said one person had to be taken to the hospital after a crash in the 1900 block of Missouri Boulevard just after noon on Saturday.
According to police, Michael Hood, 66, was driving west on Missouri Blvd. and crashed into the back of a Chevrolet drive by Mit Patel, 27. Patel was stopped at the time of the crash.
Hood’s passenger was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and suffered a head injury. She was taken to the hospital. Hood got injuries to his hand but was not transported by EMS.
Patel and Hood were wearing seatbelts.
