Sunshine dominates until Tuesday– continuing to track midweek rain chance
TONIGHT: High pressure settles into the region overnight and that will allow for clear skies and light winds causing temperatures to fall off to around 26 degrees. Along with that, some moisture is present which will fuel frost potential.
MONDAY: As you head out the door, you’ll need a minute or two to defrost your windows, however frost will quickly burn off following sunrise. You’ll be able to shed the layers off by the afternoon with temperatures climbing into the upper 40s and low 50s.
EXTENDED: The quiet weather pattern is stuck with us until Tuesday, and even most of the day Wednesday. We’ tracking another slow moving batch of pacific moisture that will team up with a trough of low pressure. This looks to bring another round of cool weather late Wednesday with lots of clouds steady rain into Thursday morning. Preliminary rainfall totals don’t look to terribly impressive as of now. It seems the bigger story will be a return to gloomy conditions. Stick with ABC 17 News on air and online for the latest changes to tracks and forecasts.
