2 men arrested in Callaway County for child sex crimes

Two men in Callaway County were arrested over the weekend for child sex crimes.

Ryan White, 36, of Holt Summits, was arrested and charged with multiple counts of child molestation and statutory sodomy with a child under the age of 14.

Christopher Feltner, 39, of Fulton, was charged with having sex with a child under the age of 12. Deputies said the investigation was extensive and conducted at a house in Fulton.

Callaway County Sheriff Clay Chism said the two cases are not related, but child sex crimes are something they do see often.

“Unfortunately, we investigate a lot of reports of child sex crimes,” Chism said.

Chism said many of the reports come through the child abuse hotline.

Chism said it’s a delicate issue, and he could not release who the victim or victims are in relation to the two men charged.

Chism said the community can and should help report these crimes.

“Community members are always strongly encouraged to report any information they may have to law enforcement or the child abuse and neglect hotline if they believe a kid is endangered, regardless of how limited the information is,” Chism said.

Feltner is currently being held in the Callaway County Jail on a $250,000 bond and White has bonded out on his $100,000 bond.
