Cold weather returns… on and off snow chances through Monday

TONIGHT: Expect some on and off light rain showers this evening as temperatures make a return to colder than average values for Sunday. We’re tracking gusty winds this evening so you’ll definitely want to bundle up with temperatures in the low 40s by 9pm.

SUNDAY: It’s a cold day with temperatures in the upper thirties through the afternoon. We could see a few early morning sprinkles change to wind-blown flurries through the afternoon. Expect little to no impacts, but don’t be surprised to see a few flakes flying tomorrow. The biggest story is the much colder air… You’ll need the jacket all day!

EXTENDED: Beyond Sunday, we’re tracking the remnants of the low tracking across Mid-Missouri Sunday night into Monday morning. There’s a potential portions of Mid-Missouri, especially north of I-70 could see some of that snow stick. Accumulations would be light. Cold air sticks around through the end of the week… below average temps through at least Thursday. Stay with ABC 17 News as we continue to track the latest details on the changing conditions.
