Christmas tree lighting ceremony held at Governor’s mansion

A Christmas tree lighting ceremony was held at the Governor’s mansion Friday night.

Gov. Mike Parson and First Lady Teresa Parson invited the public to the ceremony, which started at 6 p.m.

Candlelight tours were held after the ceremony and will be held again Dec. 1 from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m.

The tree is located on the south mansion lawn. According to a news release, it is a 40-foot Norway spruce donated by Mike and Linda Knudson of Lebanon.
