Manhunt on for Sunrise Beach man

Sunrise Beach police are asking for help in finding a man they say plans to harm his ex-girlfriend.

Springfield TV station KY3 reported police are seeking Tom G. Rickey II, 22, on charges of domestic assault and child endangerment. Sunrise Beach police say Rickey tried to ram his ex-girlfriend’s vehicle with his car on Sept. 11, forced her off the road and hit her in the head several times, KY3 reported.

Authorities said Rickey removed his GPS monitoring device and might be in the Kansas City area hiding out. Police said he also has connections in St. Joseph, Sedalia, Jefferson City and Springfield.

Rickey is 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs about 220 pounds with dark brown hair and brown eyes.
