Camdenton couple accused of hitting children

A Camdenton couple was charged on Monday after they and multiple children allegedly got into playful wrestling match that turned violent.

According to court documents, police arrived at the Camdenton residence to find Heather R. Jackson highly intoxicated. Jackson told police she had been out celebrating for her birthday with Aaron J. Logan, and when the couple came home, Logan was wrestling with the girls in a playful manner, then it got out of hand, the court documents said.

Police talked with the four children who were in the residence, and they confirmed that Logan was “play wrestling” with one of them when he threw the child against the wall and started hitting her. The children said they also got involved to separate Logan from the child when Jackson also got involved and started hitting and scratching them, the documents said.

Logan then allegedly “started punching everyone,” according to the documents.

Some of the children suffered minor injuries in the incident.

Logan was charged with two counts of first-degree endangering the welfare of a child, third-degree assault and fourth-degree assault. He’s being held on a $10,000 cash bond. Jackson was charged with two counts of third-degree assault and peace disturbance. She bonded out of jail on Thursday.
