Firefighters respond to car engulfed in flames

The Columbia Fire Department responded to a vehicle engulfed in flames on Providence Road near Interstate 70 Wednesday night.

Firefighters were dispatched to the scene in the southbound lanes just after 7 p.m.

The fire was extinguished by 7:30 p.m.

ABC 17 News is working to find out if anyone was hurt and what started the fire.
