Sheriff’s office investigating Gasconade County homicide
The Gasconade County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Bland man’s death.
Deputies were sent early Sunday to 104 Pleasant Ave. in Bland and found Jesse Robbins, 53, suffering from a suspected gunshot wound, Sheriff John Romanus wrote in an email. Robbins was pronounced dead at the scene despite efforts to save him, Romanus wrote.
The official cause of death remained undetermined Tuesday morning pending a medical examiner’s report, Romanus said. No suspects have been arrested and Romanus asks anyone with information to call his office.
