Pretrial hearing Monday for man accused in deadly shooting in Boone County
Damontrion Doxley, 19, of Columbia, is expected to be in court Monday for a pretrial conference.
Doxley was indicted by a grand jury with first-degree murder and armed criminal action in connection with a deadly shooting in April 2018.
According to court documents, Doxley and another man were seen leaving the area of the block 5500 Pinehurst Lane immediately after multiple gunshots were heard.
Javonte Roy, 27, of Columbia, was shot in the incident and later died at the hospital.
Doxley has pleaded not guilty. His pretrial hearing is scheduled to start at 1:30 p.m. and his jury trial is scheduled to start on Dec. 4.
At last check, the second suspect who was seen leaving the area with Doxley has not been arrested.
