Converted ambulance crashes in Hallsville

A vehicle that went off the road in Hallsville this morning was a converted ambulance used by a private farmer, Hallsville police said.

Boone County dispatchers reported an ambulance in a ditch at East Highway 124 and Bertie Avenue in Hallsville at about 9 a.m. Hallsville police said the vehicle was actually a converted ambulance not used by any ambulance service. The vehicle was gone by the time an ABC 17 News photographer arrived.
