Winter gets the boot, for now… Tracking beautiful conditions for Thanksgiving!
TONIGHT: We’re tracking high pressure settling in across Mid-Missouri this evening. This will lead to calm winds overnight along with partly cloudy skies. Temperatures drop to the upper 20… you’ll want the jacket as you head out the door.
MONDAY: We see sunshine return on Monday, with many of us in the mid to upper 40s by the afternoon hour. Winds are steady out of the WSW at 5-10 mph.
EXTENDED: We’re tracking a weak cold front Tuesday that looks to ease temperatures back into the low to mid 40s… frontal passage looks dry. Winds will swing out of the southwest Wednesday, into Thanksgiving leading to more sunshine and a return to temperatures ABOVE NORMAL for the first time this month. Black Friday rain potential looks to be following the beautiful holiday, but we quickly warm up to near 60 by Saturday. Beyond that… the long range is hinting another return to hardcore winter; something we’ll have to track in the next 7 days.
