Highway Patrol warns of two suspects on the run near Kingdom City

UPDATE 3:30 p.m.: The Callaway County Sheriff’s Office reports that one of the suspects has been detained.

ORIGINAL: The Missouri State Highway Patrol is warning that two suspects are on the loose near Kingdom City Wednesday afternoon.

They’re asking people to lock their doors and watch out for a while man and possibly a white female.

Troopers said they tried to pull over a vehicle with stolen plates on Interstate 70 near mile marker 147.

The car, a Jeep, drove off the highway and into a field. The vehicle was found abandoned by troopers just southwest of Kingdom City.
