Pleasant fall weather sticks around through midweek

TUESDAY: Despite teh cooler afternoon, it will be another beautiful fall day across the region. Afternoon highs will top out in the lower 60s as we head through the day, with plenty of sunshine. Northwesterly winds up to 10 mph will keep temperatures several degrees cooler than yesterday, but still nice enough to get outdoors.

TONIGHT: Quiet weather sticks around tonight with mostly clear skies and winds out of the east under 10 mph. It will be slightly cooler, with temperatures bottoming out in the mid to upper 30s, so we could see some patchy frost develop in the morning.

EXTENDED: With surface high pressure in charge, Wednesday will be another cooler than average day, with afternoon highs around 60 and more sunshine, especially in the morning. As this system slides off toward the east, more moisture will move into the region. Clouds will be on the increase Wednesday afternoon and into Thursday, with a slight shower chance Thursday night into Friday. Another chance of showers moves in Friday night and early Saturday with a cold front. Any showers we can squeeze out of either of these chances will be light in nature. Temperatures look to stay in the middle to upper 50s for highs all the way through the weekend. Keep up to date with the latest forecast on-air and online with ABC 17 News.
