On the warm side to start out the work week, Quiet through Wednesday

TONIGHT: We’re chilly overnight, thankfully not quite as cold as earlier this morning… We’ll see lows dip to near 40 degrees, with a few spots in the upper 30s. You’ll want that jacket to start your work week out.

MONDAY: After the chilly start tomorrow morning, temperatures warm up generously. It’s likely to be our warmest day that we’ve had in the past week and a half. We’re in the upper 60s, touching the 70 degree mark by tomorrow afternoon, with a steady southwest breeze upwards of 8-12 mph.

EXTENDED: Monday is the warm day. We’re tracking a series of cold fronts through the week that will kick temperatures below average by Tuesday, with rain chances increasing into the weekend. Weekend precipitation potential in association with a weak upper level wave, beginning to interact with the remnants of what is now Hurricane Willa. The bulk of the precipitation, at the moment, looks to be well south of our area, but something of course to keep an eye on. The bigger story will be increasing clouds and below average temperatures through the weekend. Keep up to date with the latest forecast on-air and online with ABC 17 News.
