University of Missouri dedicates bicycle rack to Nobel winner

The University of Missouri honored Nobel Prize winner George Smith on Thursday with a personal bicycle rack.

Smith won the 2018 Nobel Prize in Chemistry earlier this month. He is the first MU profressor to receive a Nobel Prize.

Smith lives close to campus and said he prefers to bike to campus.

University officials unveiled the bike rack slot Thursday afternoon outside of Tucker Hall on Hitt Street.
