Gov. Parson stops in Columbia to discuss Proposition D

Gov. Mike Parson stopped in Columbia on Thursday as part of his four-day tour to encourage voters to support Proposition D in the Nov. 6 election.

The tour started Tuesday. Parson has made stops in cities including St. Louis, Springfield, Cape Girardeau, Kansas City, Joplin and Poplar Bluff.

“Missouri’s infrastructure needs are long overdue, and before a tragedy occurs, now is the time to take action,” Parson said. “As Governor, improving the state’s infrastructure will always be a top priority for me and Prop D plays an important role in providing the tools necessary for Missouri to make new investments in our roads and bridges.”

Friday morning, Parson will be back in St. Louis before going to Rolla and Sedalia.
