Teen killed in motorcycle crash

A Mexico, Missouri, teen was killed when his motorcycle was hit by a Jeep on Saturday.

Logan Jaeger, 19, was driving his 2003 Kawasaki eastbound on Breckenridge at Grove Street at about 2:30 p.m. when a 2013 Jeep driven by Ronald Biery, 73, pulled into the intersection into Jaeger’s path, according a Mexico Department of Public Safety news release. Jaeger attempted to avoid the Jeep but couldn’t, the release said. He was flown to University Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.
