Unsettled weekend weather with changeable temperatures

TONIGHT: Winds will remain out of the southwest up to 10 mph tonight, keeping temperatures warm with lows near 70 by morning. A line of showers and storms will develop in northwestern Missouri ahead of a cold front, which will approach the area by Saturday morning.

SATURDAY: After 6 AM, a line of storms will enter our northwestern counties, bringing localized heavy rain as well some rumbles of thunder in the morning. Rain chances will increase to the southeast as we head through the day as the front slowly heads south. Therefore, afternoon temperatures will range from the 60s in our northwestern counties to near 80 in our southern counties.

EXTENDED: The front will stall to our south and move back north Sunday. This will bring temperatures up into the 70s to near 80 Sunday with scattered showers and t-storms which will slowly lift to the north by Sunday night. There continues to be a slight storm chance Monday with warm weather as we reach the mid 80s. More changes move in Tuesday night into Wednesday as another cold front brings rain and cools us down for the last half of next week.
