Boil water advisory issued for parts of Sturgeon

Some Sturgeon residents are being advised to boil their water before drinking it for the next two days.

Sturgeon officials issued a boil water advisory Wednesday morning affecting the following areas:

West Smith Street from North Turner Street to Joann Street; West Harris from North Turner to Fairgrounds Street; West Stone Street from North Turner to Fairgrounds; Fairgrounds from West Smith to West Proctor Street; East Benson Road from Faigrounds to the railroad tracks; Joann from West Smith to East Benson

The advisory is in effect until 11:40 a.m. Friday or until further notice. It was not clear what prompted the advisory.
