Man arrested for domestic assault with a motor vehicle

A man was arrested Friday morning after he allegedly tried to run a woman off of a Columbia road.

Police responded to the area of Garth and Providence and observed a man in his car, chasing a woman driver and trying to run her vehicle off of the road. According to police on scene, officers tried to pull the man over, and after two blocks, he adhered to the officers’ commands.

The man was arrested on Broadway Boulevard and McBaine Avenue for domestic assault with a motor vehicle.
