Some Consolidated customers under boil water advisory
Consolidated Water of Boone County has issued a boil water advisory for parts of its service area.
The advisory applies to customers between Providence Road and Gans Creek Road, including customers along Bearfield and Rock Quarry roads. It’s in effect until noon Thursday.
The advisory was issued after a leak in a water main caused low pressure. Such advisory are taken as a precaution because low pressure can allow harmful bacteria into water lines. Any water meant to be consumed should be boiled.
