Sunshine and rising temperatures through the week

TODAY: After a cool start to the day, temperatures will be slow to rise through the day. Afternoon highs are only expected to top out in the upper 70s under sunny skies and low humidity. Winds through the day will be fairly calm out of the Temperatures starting off in the 50s will rise into the mid to upper 70s by afternoon with sunshine out in full force. Winds will remain out of the north under 5 mph.

TONIGHT: Temperatures will drop into the 50s again by morning with clear skies in place. By morning you may need to grab an extra layer with a cool start to the day.

EXTENDED: Things stay quiet for this week across Mid-MO, with plenty of sunshine and a slow warming trend. Rain chances are at a minimum through the whole week with the jet stream staying well to the north of us. High temperatures by Wednesday will be back in the mid 80s with sunshine hanging around all week long. Overnight lows will eventually only drop back into the mid 60s. As of now, it looks like we will hold onto dry, pleasant & seasonal weather through the weekend with rain chances making their way back into the forecast by Monday or Tuesday of next week.
