Quiet weather pattern takes hold in Mid-Missouri

TODAY: We’re still seeing some lingering cloud cover to begin our Sunday. Those clouds will be sticking around for much of the day, but by the afternoon, we could be seeing the return of sunshine, especially in some of our northwestern counties. With a northeast breeze ushering in drier air, our temperatures will struggle to get back to the 70 degree mark today, feeling more like mid-October.

TONIGHT: Clouds continue to move out into the overnight hours, helping our temperatures cool off to the middle 50s for lows heading into Monday. Wouldn’t be surprised to see some fog developing in some of our low-lying areas in the morning if our winds relax just enough.

EXTENDED: This calm weather pattern looks to continue for much of the work week. Clouds may even be hard to come by Tuesday and Wednesday. Temperatures to start out the work week will top out in the upper 70s on Monday and warm with plenty of sunshine to the middle 80s by Friday.
