Periods of rain, heavy at times

***FLASH FLOOD WATCH THROUGH SATURDAY***

TONIGHT: It will be breezy with periods of rain and isolated thunder with pockets of heavy rain. Lows will drop into the low to mid 60s with winds out of the northeast up to 15 mph.

SATURDAY: Rain will be ongoing in the morning with heavy rain possible at times. It looks like a southwest to northeast oriented band of rain from near Sedalia to Moberly will have more widespread rain along with areas along I-44, where rainfall amounts will be highest. The rain will gradually taper off through the afternoon from west to east with light showers continuing into the evening hours and gradually ending. It will be mild and breezy with highs in the upper 60s to near 70 and northeast winds gusting up to 25-30 mph.

EXTENDED: Light rain could linger until early Sunday morning in our eastern counties but most areas will be dry starting Sunday, although the clouds will linger. A north breeze will keep temperatures mild Sunday, only reaching near 70. Sunshine returns to start the work week with temperatures warming from the upper 70s Monday to the mid 80s by Thursday.
