CPD execute search warrant, officer and suspect stung by bees

The Columbia Police Department executed a search warrant for a residence on Old 63.

Police at the scene said the suspect fled the residence and went into the woods behind Cliff Drive in Columbia.

The suspect was stung by bees and then transported to the hospital, according to police.

At least one officer was also stung by bees, but they were not transported to the hospital.
