Two people hurt in Boone County crash

UPDATE: Two people were taken to the hospital after a crash on Highway 63 in Boone County Friday night.

A crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol said a Jeep Wrangler struck the rear of a truck, causing the Jeep to roll over.

The driver of the Jeep was thrown from the vehicle, according to troopers.

The crash report said the driver of the jeep suffered serious injuries and the driver of the truck suffered minor injuries.

ORIGINAL: Right now emergency crews are on the scene of a crash on Highway 63 in Boone County.

It happened around 6:30 p.m.near Deer Park Friday night.

Boone County Joint Communications asked drivers to avoid the area.

ABC 17 News has a crew on scene and is working to find out what caused the crash and if anyone was injured.
