Man arrested by Boone County deputies on I-70

A man is now in custody after an incident on I-70 just east of the Lake of the Woods exit in Columbia.

ABC 17 News crews saw a man in handcuffs on the eastbound side of I-70 while Boone County deputies searched the nearby area off the highway just after 1 a.m. Friday.

Initial reports indicate a pursuit may have taken place with a subject possibly rolling out of a moving vehicle.

The ABC 17 News staff has contacted the Boone County Sheriff’s Department to gain more information and is waiting to hear back.
