Warm weekend, rain moves in late Sunday

TONIGHT: Skies will become partly cloudy with lows dropping into the upper 60s with light north winds to 6 mph. Patchy fog is possible by morning.

SATURDAY: We’ll have a warm, dry start to the weekend with partly cloudy skies and high temperatures in the upper 80s. Winds will come in from the northeast up to 10 mph.

EXTENDED: The first half of the day Sunday will be dry with high temperatures reaching the upper 80s. Clouds will increase, leading to a chance of showers and t-storms as they increase from the west. The best chance of rain for all of Mid-Missouri is Sunday night into Monday morning as a warm front lifts to the northeast. Showers and t-storms will become more widely scattered Monday afternoon as the surface low and cold front pass to our east. Temperatures will reach the lower 80s Monday with rain ending by midnight. High pressure will bring beautiful summer weather from Tuesday through Thursday with abundant sunshine, low humidity, high temperatures in the low 80s and comfortable nights near 60. A slight rain chance returns at the end of the week as temperatures warm slightly. Watch ABC 17 News on air and online for the latest up to date weather forecasts.
