Temperatures are pleasant this weekend, Another shot of rainfall arrives late Sunday

THIS AFTERNOON: Skies are continuing to clear out this afternoon, but we’re not going to the clouds totally clear out. Temperatures will slowly rise into the mid-80s, however with humidities in the mid to upper 60s, it will continue to feel muggy through this evening. There’s the potential for a few showers & storms for folks in southeastern Mid-MO near the I-44 corridor. Outside of that area, it’s likely that much of Mid-Missouri will stay dry for any Friday evening plans.

TONIGHT: Some clouds will stick around this evening as temperatures drop into the upper 60s, which is seasonal for this time of year. Winds will be light out of the north up to 6 mph.

EXTENDED: For the weekend, Saturday looks dry with highs in the upper 80s. After a brief period of dry time this weekend, spot storm chances will increase Sunday late in the day, with the better chance of rain Sunday night into Monday. A cold front passes through Monday afternoon with decreasing rain chances.Tuesday looks mainly dry with only a spot shower chance. High temperatures will come in below the seasonal averages through Wednesday, reaching the low to mid 80s. Watch ABC 17 News on air, and online for the latest up to date weather forecasts.
