Pursuit suspect drives through Columbia work zone
The Columbia Police Department detained one person Friday afternoon after he led officers on a chase in downtown Columbia.
The pursuit ended on Clark Lane and Towne near an apartment complex. The suspect drove through an active work zone before getting out of his car and leading officers on a short foot pursuit.
Officers were able to detain the suspect and take him into custody.
According to Columbia police, the vehicle the suspect was driving was stolen.
No one was injured in the incident.
