Man dies in Pettis County crash involving semi

A crash in Pettis County involving a semitruck left one man dead.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol released the report on its website Saturday morning. The crash happened shortly after 11 a.m. Monday.

According to the crash report, Gerald Grable, 68, of Green Ridge, was driving northbound on U.S. 65 when a semitruck traveling west on Route J tried to cross the road. Grable’s car hit the back of the semitruck and was pronounced dead on the scene.

The driver of the semitruck was not hurt.
