Benefit concert held to honor Carl DeBrodie and help fund foundation

People in Holts Summit came together Saturday night for a benefit concert to honor a disabled Fulton man who lost his life last year.

All proceeds from the concert will to go a foundation set up in honor of Carl DeBrodie, who was found encased in concrete after Second Chance Homes reported him missing last April.

The event started at 5 p.m. and goes until midnight. There is a suggested $5 donation which will go toward the Carl’s Helping Hands Foundation.

It’s taking place at the Greenway Park Pavilion in Holts Summit and there are bands and food trucks throughout the evening.

If you can’t make the concert tonight, you can donate to the foundation here.
