Overnight storms cause damage, power outages across Mid-Missouri

Several communities across Mid-Missouri are cleaning up damage Tuesday morning from overnight storms.

ABC 17 News was in Centralia around 3 a.m. as crews worked to clear fallen tree limbs and debris off city streets.

Moberly police also tweeted just before 1:30 a.m. that officers were working with the street department to clear debris. ABC 17 News saw similar reports out of Fayette and Mexico as well.

The storms also caused a number of power outages.

As of 2:30 a.m., 560 customers were without power in Audrain, Boone, Montgomery and Randolph counties, according to Ameren Missouri.

Several areas were still dealing with a loss of power several hours later.
