Heating back up through the week

TONIGHT: Clouds will decrease through the night as temperatures drop into the upper 60s. By daybreak we are going to see fog settle across the area, likely impacting the morning commute.

WEDNESDAY: Morning fog and low clouds will clear to mostly sunny skies with temperatures heating up into the upper 80s in the afternoon. Winds will stay under 10 mph from the north.

EXTENDED: High temperatures will reach the lower 90s Thursday and Friday under mostly sunny skies as the upper level ridge builds back over the area. A weak cold front drifting south Friday could spark a spot shower or t-storm Friday evening. For the weekend, slight storm chances are in the forecast as an upper level low pressure area develops over the Great Lakes and digs to the south. A weak front at the surface could trigger spot storms both Saturday and Sunday with the best chance south of I-70. Weekend high temperatures will stay near 90 under partly to mostly sunny skies.
