Smoke damages Boone County garage
The Boone County Fire Protection District responded to a fire Monday night.
It happened before 6:30 pm on Highway KK near Sabine Drive.
According to the fire officials, crews were called to a two-story garage that was full of smoke.
Firefighters arrived at the scene to find a fire that had self-extinguished in the garage with significant smoke damage throughout, Assistant Chief Gale Blomenkamp said.
Southbound Highway KK was temporarily closed due to the incident.
