Week starts cool & unsettled, tracking heat returning by Thursday & Friday
TONIGHT: We’re going to see cloudy skies hold strong overnight with temperatures falling back to the middle 60s. Forecast data has a isolated showers developing in the early morning hours, especially east of HWY 63 after 4am.
MONDAY: Even with the slight rain risk tomorrow morning, I think most of us stay dry for the commute, however it will be worth it to keep the umbrella handy as we’ll see on and off shower chances throughout the day Monday. It’s another cool one out there, with temperatures holding the mid 70s. Places that see extended cloud cover and rain will hover in the upper 60s & low 70s.
EXTENDED: The cooler weather can only last so long… We look to hold on to rain chances and below average temperatures through Tuesday, but has we trek through the middle and end of the week, we’re going to see the weather drying out. Along with trend of dryer weather, we watch temperatures sneak back above average. We’ll see lower 90s return by Friday along with the potential for some elevated humidities as well. Thankfully the humidity doesn’t look quite as oppressive as what we’ve had in weeks past, but we’re definitely seeing summer re-stake it’s claim over Mid-Missouri by the end of the week.
