Principal for Alpha Hart Lewis Elementary School announced

The Columbia Public School District announced De’Vion Moore will be recommended to the Board of Education next month to become the principal at Alpha Hart Lewis Elementary School for the 2018-19 school year.

Moore currently works as the assistant principal at West Boulevard Elementary School and has been with Columbia Public schools for six years.

The district said Moore previously worked as a learning specialist at Hickman High School.

Moore would replace current Principal Michelle Holz. According to the district, Holz has accepted a position in the human resources department.
