Columbia Regional Airport adds second TSA line

The Columbia Regional Airport now has a second TSA security screening station.

The airport debuted the second station Wednesday, the city announced.

According to a news release, an increase in passengers caused the original TSA security screening station to become crowded, particularly in the early morning.

The city said the rental car counters were moved from the north side of the terminal to the south side of the TSA screen stations to accommodate the new station.
