Storms damage boats, docks at Lake of the Ozarks Friday morning

Emergency crews are working to clean up damage left behind after storms blew through parts of the Lake of the Ozarks early Friday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol tweeted out several photos of the storm damage from mile markers 6 and 7 on the Little Niangua Arm of the lake in Camden County.

Troopers said there were no reports of injuries.

The ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Team confirmed that a line of storms moved through the area between 4:50 a.m. and 5:05 a.m. Friday.

Radar estimated rainfall is between a trace amount to over an inch.

The storms moved quickly through the Lake of the Ozarks and dissipated as they tracked to the southeast.

Damage estimates from the storm haven’t been released.
