Centralia grocery store plans to close at the end of July

A mid-Missouri grocery store chain announced on Tuesday it plans to close its location on 975 MO-22 in Centralia.

According to C&R Markets Facebook page, it expects to sell off the store, equipment, and building to the company’s competitor.

The Centralia location is expected to remain open through July 30. Workers will start to markdown in-stock products on July 18.

Customers can redeem C&R Rewards points at the Centralia Eagle Stop through August 31 for gas discounts or at another C&R location.

No other C&R stores are affected by this closure.

The company also doesn’t plan to sell or close any other locations.
