More comfortable conditions on the way

MONDAY: Back to work we’re tracking another warm day as temperatures will likely top out in low to mid 90s. Humidity will be a tad lower starting today, but will still create for uncomfortable conditions as heat index values range from 95-99. Clouds build in into the afternoon with spot shower chance east of HWY 63.

TONIGHT: A cold front will make it’s final push through the area tonight, which will allow for a cooler morning Tuesday. Overnight lows will drop into the upper 60s by daybreak under partly cloudy skies.

EXTENDED: Thanks to the cold front, Tuesday will be a beautiful day with cooler temperatures and more noticeably, much lower humidity values. We will see a lot more sunshine and this makes Tuesday one of the best days to get out this week. Wednesday will be another comfortable day as well with heat indices back in the upper 80s. We’re going to track a series of low pressure systems roll through Mid-Missouri this week bringing the chance at some much needed widespread rain across the region. With a cutoff low tracking to the north of us expect scattered storms through the tail end of your work week.
