Man drowns at popular Missouri swimming spot

A 21-year-old St. Louis man drowned at The Offsets in Madison County on Friday afternoon.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Safion Livingston was in the water when he began struggling, submerged and did not resurface.

This is the second drowning death at The Offsets in the last two weeks. A 19-year-old man from Chesterfield drowned on July 4.
